Committed to those who’ve lost a spouse
The ‘why’ behind
Voyage Financial Partners is personal
Tim’s Story:
When my father passed away many years ago, my mom came to me and wanted to know what a stock and mutual fund were. My father had been her confidant, sounding board, and someone who understood money very well. Now, she found herself handling her money for the first time without him.
Although she never imagined herself on this journey, she learned that with a little bit of guidance and an understanding ear, she could learn how to handle this perceived dragon at the door: her personal finances. Now years later, this one-time dragon is now just a little lizard looking for shade on a hot summer day.
You can face your dragon too. All you need is a little help, that is where we come in.
Our goal is to listen and be that guiding hand to widows who find themselves in similar situations. We have designed this website to give you access to many tools and resources that widows in the past have found helpful. If you would rather just call or email our office, we will gladly help in any way possible.

Josh’s Story:
With a heart for helping others and a passion for service, I specialize in guiding individuals and couples who are at or working toward retirement through the financial planning process. My goal is to simplify the complex and give clients confidence as they approach one of life’s biggest transitions.
Before entering the financial services industry, I spent years as a teacher and basketball coach, which gave me a unique ability to educate and connect with people from all walks of life. I also played college basketball at Pensacola Christian College, and that team mindset still shapes the way I approach planning—working together to build a winning strategy for your financial future.
I’m originally from the mountains of Washington state and remain a devoted Gonzaga Bulldogs and Seattle Mariners fan. My wife and I have been married for 10 years and are raising a growing family with a 4-year-old, a 2-year-old, and twins on the way! I enjoy spending time at the beach with my family, attending sporting events, and playing golf, pickleball, and basketball whenever my schedule allows.
Outside of work, I’m committed to serving our community. My wife and I volunteer with our church’s youth group, and I’m an active member of the Moncks Corner Rotary Club. I’m always looking for new opportunities to give back and make a difference, serving in the community I live and work in.
If you’re approaching retirement and want a partner who understands the importance of planning with purpose, I’d be honored to help you navigate your journey.

Shannon’s Story:
I am a dedicated business professional with a background in energy and legal services, yet the financial investment field always peaked my interest. I consider myself a well-organized individual that often seeks new challenges and the responsibilities that come with it.
My past business experiences and natural communication ability falls into place with a role at Voyage Financial Partners. This allows me to engage with clients on a personal level and to assist them with managing their current financial lives, as well as their future.
All of this, coupled with the desire to travel, allows my husband and I to visit our adult children while enjoying the many stops along the way. The beach, a new restaurant, and lending a hand will always get my free time of course.
